Your New Role 

This 12-month contract reports into the Head of Risk Transformation and is a key enabler for the successful implementation of scheduled uplift risk activities. You will oversee the management of the implementation plan for the largest Domain along with representing the Domain in cross-functional project forums, translating program requirements into actionable business deliverables, artefacts and establishing and following adequate and efficient governance mechanisms.  

To be successful in this position you will have experience in implementing other large change programs (preferably risk or regulatory) and have the requisite skills to develop and lead the implementation plan, ensuring delivery on all target milestones is met, and provide reporting and validating deliverables. You will be a leader, a critical thinker and active member of Domains Implementation Teams alongside 1st line risk team members.  

 

Key duties include but are not limited to;  

  • Creation and aggregation of a Domain implementation plan. 

  • Business Integration Leadership: Act as the primary business-facing lead into the wider program, translating program-level initiatives into actionable plans for impacted business units. 

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong relationships with senior business stakeholders to ensure clarity of objectives, ownership of deliverables, and readiness for change adoption. 

  • Resource Planning and Management: Develop and manage the Domain resource plan to ensure it has the necessary personnel and resources to meet project objectives. 

  • Engage with key stakeholders, including project managers, initiative leads, Domain teams, to ensure clear communication and alignment on project objectives and deliverables. 

  • Act as a liaison between the Domain stakeholders and the Senior Implementation Manager for escalation of delays, blockers or concerns. As appropriate, prepare stakeholders ahead of weekly implementation meetings.  

  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Monitor project performance, track progress against milestones, and report on the status of Domain-related initiatives to appropriate committees (to be defined) 

 

What You’ll Need   

  • Significant experience as a project or implementation lead within Investments, Superannuation, Wealth or Markets environment, with proven experience on leading complex or large initiatives. 

  • Skilful application of well-designed change management and communication processes as they relate to instigating and delivering on programs of change.  

  • Significant experience in working under pressure, setting and manage conflicting priorities and meeting specified timeframes. 

  • Developed stakeholder relationship skills, including ability to initiate, maintain and develop relationships with staff from all levels of the Fund. 

  • Strong consulting, influencing and negotiation skills. 

  • Demonstrated ability to respectfully challenge, deal with conflict and stand their ground where required. 

  • Outstanding engagement skills that reflects a professional, collegiate and engaging approach. 

  • Experience managing regulatory change with Australia.
