Key Responsibilities
- Perform servicing, repairs, and maintenance on heavy plant machinery and trucks
- Provide breakdown support and fault diagnostics in the field
- Ensure all work meets Downer’s safety and operational standards
- Collaborate with a skilled team while also working independently
What You’ll Bring
- Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics, Plant Mechanics, or Fitting (essential)
- Strong hydraulic knowledge and fault-finding skills
- Experience with mobile plant, trucks, and heavy equipment
- Auto electrical experience (highly regarded)
- HR and Forklift licences (desirable)
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety
