About the role
Step into a hands-on technical role where precision meets purpose. This position is all about keeping the heartbeat of the facility strong—performing both corrective and planned maintenance to ensure equipment runs smoothly, production stays on track, and the building and site meet top-tier standards. You’ll be the go-to for maintaining safe working conditions, minimizing equipment downtime, and supporting the delivery of high-quality consumer products.
Urgency is key here. The plant and its utilities operate around the clock, and so does your commitment. Whether it’s day, night, or weekend, you’ll be expected to tackle tasks with minimal supervision and maximum impact. The schedule follows a powerful rhythm: 5:00 PM to 5:30 AM, rotating between four days on, three days off, then three days on, four days off—giving you extended breaks to recharge while staying fully engaged in a role that demands technical skill, independence, and a drive to keep operations humming 24/7.
Your responsibilities
- Performs utilities, building, and equipment maintenance in alignment with production needs, including preventative and predictive tasks to ensure operational efficiency and safety.
- Coordinates and prioritizes emergency repairs, manages contractors, and oversees service activities to minimize downtime and maintain quality standards.
- Conducts inspections of production equipment and facilities, reporting damage and initiating corrective actions as needed.
- Supports continuous improvement by analyzing root causes of downtime, recommending safety enhancements, and driving equipment design upgrades.
- Leads internal communication to meet KPIs, ensures compliance with safety, cGMP, and quality regulations, and uses escalation protocols for extended line stoppages or below-target OEE.
- Provides excellent customer service to internal teams, maintains warehouse and production support equipment, and ensures team members are trained to meet performance standards.
- Manages procurement of spare parts, equipment quotes, and modifications within budget. Evaluates employee performance for salary reviews and administers disciplinary actions when necessary.
- Contributes to the successful execution of maintenance plans and new projects, performing other duties as assigned.

The experience we're looking for
- High School Diploma or equivalent and 5+ year’s facility maintenance experience in vitamin, food, chemical, or pharmaceutical environment.
- A proven background of performing and improving preventive maintenance and autonomous maintenance.
- Good working knowledge of plant utilities including HVAC, steam, cooling water, Purified Water, dust collection, compressed air, wastewater treatment
- Analytical skills with drive to implement improvements
- Understanding of building and facilities management processes and systems
- EP608A refrigerated systems preferred

Pay Range
$30 per hour + depending on experience

The base salary range for this role will vary based on experience in job and industry, training and education, skills relevant to the position, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to the base salary, the position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, which is subject to change each year.
