Job Ttitle: Rotational Accounting Analyst

The Rotational Accounting Analyst program offers comprehensive, hands-on experience across core functions of the Accounting Department. Through a structured series of rotations, you will develop a strong foundation in accounting principles, enhance your analytical skills, and collaborate cross-functionally to support the organization’s financial success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Partnering: Collaborates with functional teams to understand and support their accounting needs, provides analytical support, and assists as needed in daily assignments and/or projects.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve department processes, reporting capabilities, and analytical tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Reporting: Analyzes monthly results and performance metrics monthly
- Projects: Provides support across accounting leadership to assist with projects and business case development on an as needed basis.
Functional Rotations include:
- Audit Engagement
- Assist with internal and external audit requests and collaborates with auditors as needed.
- Prepare requested documentation and ensure timely and accurate responses.
- Support internal good practice controls and compliance testing efforts.
- Accounts Receivable
- Process credit and debit memos.
- Assist with customer collections and account reconciliations.
- Supports AR aging reviews which includes research and processing of customer claims.
- Accounts Payable
- Assist with review and processing supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist with vendor payment runs and ensure compliance with payment terms.
- Support vendor onboarding and help resolve invoice/payment discrepancies.
- Fixed Assets & Staff Accounting
- Participate in month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations.
- Assist with fixed asset tracking, capitalization, and depreciation schedules.
- Support general ledger maintenance and other staff accounting responsibilities.
- Customer Programs/Pricing
- Support administration of customer rebate programs and pricing agreements.
- Investigate pricing variances and assist in resolving customer disputes.
- Help with customer master data setup and maintenance projects.
Requirements
- Must have a Bachelor’s degree or Masters degree from an accredited institution in an Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business related major.
- Recent graduate or have less than a year of relevant experience in Accounting excluding internships.
- Ability to lead specific programs, projects and/or people with a sense of urgency, strong respect for others, and visible dedication to NDS’s core values.
- Ability to connect across groups enabling more communication, knowledge sharing, and collaboration across the enterprise.
- Ability to manage tasks and projects with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong self-direction and accountability.

- Strong analytical approach and comfort with financial models
- Confirmed ability to integrate information to build and implement solutions to organizational problems.
