As a Senior Capital Project Manager, you’ll play a critical role in leading high-impact capital projects that shape the future of our Jackson, Tennessee plant. This is an onsite position, giving you the opportunity to be hands-on and see the results of your work come to life on the plant floor. You’ll own the full project lifecycle—from planning and execution to delivery—while ensuring projects meet cost, schedule, safety, and quality targets.

 

You’ll join a collaborative Corporate Engineering team that partners closely with plant leadership and cross-functional teams across Supply Chain, Process, and Packaging. This highly visible role offers exposure to senior leadership, opportunities to influence strategic decisions, and the chance to work on complex, innovative projects that drive operational excellence. A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing

 

  • Own the Big Picture  Take full ownership of capital and expense planning, forecasting, and tracking to keep projects on time, on budget, and aligned with safety and performance goals.
  • Be the Connector  Build strong partnerships with design engineers, contractors, and Engineering Service Providers to ensure seamless execution across the region.
  • Drive Collaboration  Work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, Process, and Packaging teams, as well as external vendors and consultants, to deliver successful outcomes.
  • Lead with Financial Insight  Apply your expertise to manage project justification, asset setup, and productivity metrics using Kellanovas financial policies.

 

We’re Looking for Someone With

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and 6+ years of experience in capital project execution OR 10+ years without a degree and a high school diploma or GED.
  • Proven experience leading capital projects under multiple contracting strategies.
  • Direct experience supervising contractors.
  • Strong technical aptitude in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Ability to read drawings and work with AutoCAD.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications and project management software.

 

Compensation

 

The annual salary range is $136,600 - $179,340, which is based on various factors such as location, experience and skill. Discretionary bonuses based on company and individual performance are also available.
