Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Writer, Executive Communications to help shape and deliver the voice of our CEO. In this role, you will be responsible for crafting messages that reflect the CEO’s vision, strategy, and communication style, ensuring they resonate with broad audiences including employees, shareholders, and the board of directors. From speeches and scripts to written updates and posts, your work will help connect stakeholders to the heart of our business strategy.

Success in this role requires both exceptional writing ability and the business acumen to translate complex ideas into clear, engaging messages. You’ll work closely with internal leaders and subject matter experts to gather insight, while partnering with executive support staff to ensure communications are timed and delivered seamlessly. Beyond writing, you’ll play a key role in shaping how our CEO shows up both inside and outside the organization, helping to foster trust, alignment, and engagement.

The targeted hiring range for this full-time position is $80,2000 - $108,300 depending on qualifications; however, the expanded salary range provides opportunities for advancement. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and job location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, competencies, experience, and relevant education, training or a combination of these things and market demand. Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Degree or equivalent experience in Business Communications, Journalism, or a related area
  • 2+ years of business writing experience (experience writing executive communications preferred)
  • Experience working with a board of directors and shareholders (preferred)
  • Cross-functional business operations experience (preferred)
  • Strategy-related experience is a plus

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

  • Advanced writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and visual design skills
  • Impactful business storytelling skills with the ability to tailor messaging to multiple audiences
  • Ability to cultivate relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to work with highly confidential material  
  • Strong business acumen or drive to attain a deep understanding of multi-faceted business operations

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Extensive sitting, keyboarding, use of phone/audio and standard office equipment, visual acuity.
