ASSISTANT DIRECTOR OF ENROLLMENT OPERATIONS
VSC UP-PAT BARGAINING UNIT GRADE 12
BASIC FUNCTION
Serve as a key member of the Admissions & Enrollment Operations team. This technical position is responsible for the daily operations related to Admissions, managing and ensuring data integrity and record keeping across multiple systems. This role serves as a point of contact for the general admissions email. Additionally, this role ensures admissions policies and procedures are followed throughout the admissions process.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for daily operations associated with undergraduate and graduate records.
- Manage processes for importing and exporting data between multiple vendor datasources and VSC systems.
- Administer data management tasks, including data importing, migration, merging duplicate records, auditing, and identification and repair of data quality issues to maintain data integrity.
- Assist with all aspects of the annual cycle preparation process to include updating applications, queries, snippet content, and templates for travel, events, and inquiries.
- Resolve data discrepancies and updates to records.
- Assist with upkeep of data, queries and reports used by Admissions that support daily functions of Admission Operations.
- Oversee the Admissions general email to include triaging who or what department.
- is appropriate to respond, answer general questions, and process submitted documents.
- Provide recommendations for improvement, and communicate any system changes, upgrades, issues, or clarifications to end users.
- Stay informed of and enforce admissions policies and procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED
Direct supervision received from Director of Enrollment Operations.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
None.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two (2) or more years of admissions experience.
- Two (2) years progressive leadership experience in higher education admissions or enrollment management, or similar field such as business development, continuous improvement, marketing, or supply chain from which comparable skills can be derived.
- Hands-on experience with SLATE, a customer relationship management system.
- Current, valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
- Flexible Schedule.
- Willingness to travel, primarily within the state of Vermont

- Experience using a student information system such as Colleague.

- In-depth knowledge of admissions operations, VSC experience desirable.
- Specialized knowledge and skills related to specific areas of responsibility.

Location: VTSU Castleton Campus, Castleton VT
Compensation: The budgeted compensation for this position is $50,000 - $56,150
