Department: Foundations & Concrete Accessories

At Rio Grande Co., we’re looking for a dependable Inside Sales Representative to join our Foundations team and be the person who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

 What You’ll Be Doing

Order Processing & Customer Service

  • Provide outstanding customer service for walk-in, phone, and email inquiries
  • Generate quotes, process orders, and follow up to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Assist with project takeoffs and material estimates as needed
  • Track open orders and coordinate with yard operations to ensure timely, accurate deliveries

Coordination & System Support

  • Work with vendors and Purchasing to manage special orders and lead times
  • Maintain showroom displays, samples, and literature in a clean and organized manner
  • Support outside sales representatives with account management and customer follow-up

Team & Administrative Work

  • Collaborate with outside sales, vendors, and other departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Perform clerical duties such as filing, maintaining reports, and light housekeeping as assigned

 What You Bring

  • Minimum 2 years of customer service or inside sales experience (construction/building materials background preferred)
  • Knowledge of foundation and concrete accessories
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); ERP system experience a plus
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive, professional attitude and desire to grow into an outside sales role
