POSITION SUMMARY:

The RN Manager is responsible for overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. This role involves managing clinical operations in collaboration with the medical director, implementing nursing protocols, and ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations. 

The RN Manager will lead quality improvement initiatives, coordinate staff training, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes. This position requires a dedicated leader who can effectively manage resources, foster a supportive work environment, and engage with the community to address diverse healthcare needs.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leadership and Management:

  1. Supervise and support nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and MAs.
  2. Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance staff development.
  3. Manage staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage and optimize resource utilization.

 

Clinical Oversight:

  1. Ensure adherence to clinical protocols and standards of care to maintain high-quality patient services.
  2. Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners to refine and optimize patient care plans.
  3. Assist with patient triage to prioritize care based on patient needs and ensure efficient workflow in a fast-paced environment.
  4. Administer vaccines and other medications as needed, particularly during staff shortages or to maintain optimal patient flow.
  5. Monitor clinical flow to ensure operational efficiency, identifying and addressing any bottlenecks in the process.
  6. Collaborate with nursing staff to address immediate patient care requirements and facilitate seamless operations.
  7. Support the management team in implementing strategies to enhance patient care and departmental efficiency.

 

Quality Improvement:

  1. Develop and implement initiatives aimed at improving patient care outcomes and enhancing service quality.
  2. Address and resolve eCW web encounters promptly and effectively.
