About Treeswift

Treeswift is revolutionizing decision-making for critical energy infrastructure in the face of rising threats like severe storms and wildfires.

In the U.S. alone, hundreds of thousands of miles of transmission lines and millions of miles of distribution lines need to be carefully monitored and maintained to reduce hazards. The largest of these hazards is interaction with vegetation that can cause outages or fires. With the rapid growth of renewable energy this infrastructure footprint is expected to more than double in the coming years creating more assets to defend than ever before.

Treeswift’s mission is to deliver scalable technology to manage large-scale distributed infrastructure, starting with managing the risks posed by vegetation to power lines and extending to asset management, construction planning, and disaster recovery. We deliver transformative impact to our customers by innovating across the technical stack. LiDAR and imagery data is collected by sensor packs mounted on backpacks and vehicles that seamlessly integrate into customer operations. We then deploy AI to transform raw data into actionable analytics delivered to decision-makers in our software platform. After just a year and a half since our first utility pilot we are working with three of the five largest utilities in the United States and rapidly expanding our footprint across new customers and use cases.

To tackle this challenge we are bringing together a team of mission-driven experts from with deep industry experience in robotics and enterprise software development. We hope you’ll join us on this journey to revolutionize the energy sector.

About the role

This role is a combination of customer success and product; in this role you will –

  • Lead deployment and expansion at our most critical customers. On a day-to-day basis this can mean everything from training users on our existing platform, defining granular project requirements, tracking ongoing deliveries and presenting project findings to executives. Beyond the day-to-day you will grow our impact and footprint at the customer by identifying opportunities for expansion and aligning our work against those.

  • Scope and develop product features in collaboration with our engineering and product teams. As an early stage company all our customers are our de facto design partners. Our work with them shows us what we need to improve in our existing platform and what doesn’t exist that should. In this role, you will be the closest to the customer and as a result play a major role in our product development. From small feature improvements to entirely new use cases, you will build a deep understanding of our customers, share that knowledge broadly within our team and collaborate with engineering to develop solutions.

Experience / Skills

  • 4+ years of professional experience

  • Demonstrated comfort with ambiguity and excitement to work in an extremely high-autonomy role in an early stage environment.

  • Excellent communicator across a wide breadth of stakeholders. You are comfortable giving a training to a large group of users one-minute and preparing a presentation for a room full of executives the next.

  • Experience in a highly technical environment, such as software development, robotics, engineering or finance. You don’t need to be able to code, but you are comfortable with data and quickly coming up to speed on new technical concepts.

  • Nice-to-have, but not required

    • Prior experience at a SaaS software company

    • Prior experience working with utilities, energy sector or other sectors with large field work component
