Polymer Operator A is proficient in the responsibilities and duties of the Polymer B Operator. Controls, monitors, and operates the Distributed Control System that controls the manufacturing process. Provides guidance and communicates the activity requirements needed to implement the production plan.
- Operate the DCS
- Understand the MX Nylon process
- Navigate screens, monitor the process, acknowledge and respond to alarms
- Execute procedures for startup, operations, shutdown, and infrequent operation of the manufacturing process
- Input recipes and conditions to produce product that meet requirements
- Production Control
- Communicate with producton and maintenance personnel using phones and radios.
- Provide directions for floor operations
- Coordinate sample for quality control testing
- General
- Understand and perform tasks per written procedures and instructions
- Maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Monitor production equipment and complete documentation
Provide access control to the facility
