Job Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end management of recovered vehicle assets, ensuring that every unit is sale-ready without delay. This role focuses on eliminating barriers to sale, driving down cycle times, and maximizing asset value through disciplined management of inventory, vendor partnerships, and process execution.
The successful candidate will combine strong analytical skills with hands-on operational leadership to ensure there are no unnecessary holds or restrictions preventing vehicles from moving swiftly through the pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the full lifecycle of recovered vehicles, ensuring units are immediately positioned for sale with no outstanding holds or restrictions.
- Drive operational strategies to reduce asset turn time and accelerate inventory flow.
- Partner with auctions and vendors to expedite inspections, grading, reconditioning, and sale preparation.
- Monitor and resolve any issues that could delay disposition, working cross-functionally to remove obstacles in real time.
- Track, analyze, and report key performance metrics related to asset management, cycle time, and recovery value.
- Leverage Excel and internal systems to identify process gaps, implement improvements, and optimize efficiency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auction partners and internal teams to align on sales readiness and performance objectives.
- Ensure consistent adherence to a “no-holds” policy, guaranteeing vehicles are always eligible and available for sale.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in asset management, operations, or automotive disposition.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills, with the ability to act quickly to resolve issues.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to coordinate across internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with automotive auctions and vehicle lifecycle management is a plus.

What’s the expected pay for this role?
- $70,000 - $120,000 Total Compensation
- The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire and will be dependent on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to geographic location, skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure when applicable.
