You’ll help design and test user interfaces, interactions, and responsive components that support Mouser.com and our 60+ global domains. Working closely with Stakeholders, Product Managers, and fellow UX Designers, you’ll translate business objectives and user needs into elegant, scalable design solutions.
We follow a Design Thinking approach to problem solving, and you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure your designs are both user-centered and technically feasible. Your deliverables will include wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and documentation that clearly communicate your design rationale.

• Designing user flows, wireframes, and prototypes that align with user goals and business requirements • Conducting usability testing and analyzing feedback to improve design outcomes
• Collaborating with developers to ensure design feasibility and consistency
• Communicating design concepts and decisions clearly to stakeholders at all levels
• Staying current with UX best practices, tools, and accessibility standards
The ideal candidate will also have:
• 2+ years of experience designing user experiences for ecommerce platforms
• A portfolio of work that demonstrates your UX process and design thinking
• Proficiency in UX tools such as Axure and Sketch (or similar)
• Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A passion for solving problems and improving the user experience

Mouser is an e-commerce business with 60% of the company’s revenue and 70%+ of orders being transacted on it’s websites. Selling more than 8 Million products from 1200 suppliers, in two dozen languages, to hundreds of thousands of customers, in more than 100 countries, the Internet Business department is required to design, build and host our own systems as commercial platforms are inadequate. The Internet Business department includes teams devoted to Product Data, Website Experience, Site Development, Architecture & Platforms, Quality & Automation and Operations & Infrastructure. We share responsibility for sales with our global customer support team so we are part of the business in addition to being a technical department.
