Join Casey’s in shaping a better future for our communities, guests, and team members as an Employment Law and Litigation Paralegal! In this role, you'll play a critical role supporting our dynamic and fast-paced legal team focusing on labor and employment matters for almost 50,000 team members in 19 states. This includes conducting investigations into charges of discrimination and similar employment-related claims against the Company as well as drafting initial responses to such claims.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct witness interviews, prepare witness statements, investigate claims, prepare initial responses to employment law related claims
• Analyze legal issues and conduct legal research under federal and state anti-discrimination laws.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including being able to identify the most relevant information.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries for employment/personnel related documents and/or information
• Oversee employment related litigation status and assist with responding to requests for discovery and information from outside counsel

Compensation: 

Starting pay range:‏‏‎ ‎$26 to $34.25 per hour.‏‏‎ Actual pay may vary based on Casey’s assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, and qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include local prevailing wages and internal equity. This position is eligible for an annual cash bonus based on company performance. Our full salary range for this role does extend beyond the hiring range listed, allowing team members the opportunity to continue to grow within the company.
