Offit Kurman, a growing full-service firm, is seeking a highly motivated Litigation Paralegal to join our Los Angeles office. This role will support attorneys in our Commercial Litigation, Labor & Employment, and other practice groups on a wide variety of matters. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Draft, cite-check, and proofread pleadings, discovery responses, motions, and correspondence.
• Manage discovery process, including document collection, review, production, and organization.
• Assist with case management, including maintaining files, calendars, and case databases.
• Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy.
• Coordinate with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and outside vendors.
• Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and assist with trial logistics and support.
Qualifications:
• Minimum of 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience, preferably in commercial litigation or labor & employment law.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or paralegal certificate required (ABA-approved program preferred).
• Strong understanding of litigation procedures, including federal and California state court rules.
• Proficiency in legal software (Relativity, CaseMap, Concordance, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
We will require a person to start in the office daily. After a trial period of 90 days, we expect 4 days in office, 1 day remote.
