About the Role

Our client is a global company that helps some of the world's most important institutions use data to solve their most urgent problems. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer, you’ll work directly with customers to understand their challenges and use data to design and implement impactful solutions. This role is a unique opportunity to gain rare insight into and contribute to industries like national security, healthcare, and energy.

Your responsibilities will be similar to those of a startup CTO. You’ll be part of a small team and own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects, from discussing architecture with fellow engineers to wrangling massive-scale data and speaking with customer executives.

What You'll Do

• Work directly with customers to understand their problems and design solutions using data.
• Own the end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects.
• Span a variety of tasks, including architecture discussions, data wrangling, custom coding, and strategic planning.
• Help organizations use their data to drive real-world impact.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of relevant, post-college work experience.
• Strong coding proficiency in languages such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• The ability and interest to travel up to 25% to client sites as needed.
• Located within a commutable distance to NY

Benefits
