Department Overview:

As a Benefit Analyst you will:
Direct and plan the day-to-day operations of Navvis’ benefits programs; including medical, dental, vision, disability, worker’s compensation, life insurance, critical illness, accident, tax-advantaged account, retirement plans, and other Navvis offered benefits. You will act as the key support contact for all colleagues benefits inquiries and participate in ad hoc responsibilities that positively impact our colleague experience. Additionally, you will manage all benefits related “behind the scene” tasks to audit our plans and ensure compliance, as well as participate in the strategy of designing our benefit package. Your ability to balance multiple priorities, be highly organized, and provide excellent internal colleague service will be critical in ensuring our people centric department functions smoothly and effectively for the benefit of our organization. In this role, you will collaborate within our department and cross functionally to ensure our total rewards offerings are compliant and competitive to attract new talent and retain our tenured talent.
A Day in the Life:
- Serve as the primary contact for internal colleagues and external partners pertaining to the the full Navvis benefit suite.
- Present the Navvis Benefit Program to new colleagues and assist colleagues with new hire enrollments, qualifying life events, and Open Enrollment.
- Ensure the accuracy of all benefits in our HR system to provide accurate eligibility and enrollment information to vendors, as well as reconcilling our active enrollments against the billing statements from each vendor.
- Lead the creation of all benefit and open enrollment communication plans.
- Conduct, develop, and analyze ongoing benefit audits of policies, procedures, and vendor billing.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes.
- Serve as the leave administrator, processing and monitoring the leave of absence process; including Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), disability, personal leaves and workers’ compensation.
- Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations. Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees.
- Coordinate daily benefits processing by handling enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, claim inquiries, rollovers, QDROs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing.
- Create new and enhance current wellness initiatives through planning and participation.
- Act as the constant liaison with payroll regarding all benefit integrations or issues.
- Be an active member of the Human Resources team; possessing curiosity, passion, and ambition to continuously do the right thing for Navvis and our colleagues.
- Manage data in accordance with the company’s record retention policies and procedures and state and federal laws and regulations.
- Maintain confidentiality of work-related issues, records, and company information.
- Maintain knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in benefits administration.
- Possess the desire for continual learning and growth across the Total Rewards and Compliance spectrum.
- Complete special projects, as assigned.
Requirements
We are excited about you if you have these things:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 3 – 5 years of related benefit experience, including at least 1 year of leave administration.
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of colleague benefits and the Regulatory and Legislative imperatives and impacts related to Total Rewards Programs, including ACA, ADA, ADAAA, COBRA, EEOC, ERISA, HIPAA, FMLA, Sec 125, and Worker’s Compensation.
- Demonstrated success and productivity in a changing, fast paced environment with consistent ambiguity and empathy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills resulting in clear and effective communications to all internal colleagues and external partners.
- Professional, pleasant, and positive demeanor with internal colleagues and external partners; especially during challenging and stressful situations.
- Basic level proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate proficiency in Excel
- Ability to maintain a strong sense of organization and time management with attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
