Redzone is seeking a highly motivated Product Communication Strategist to lead the development of Redzone in the automotive and industrial manufacturing spaces. As a key member of our Product Marketing
team, you will be responsible for developing and delivering the message around Redzone that
addresses the unique challenges of automotive and industrial environments. This role requires a
deep understanding of manufacturing processes, strong verbal and written communication
skills, an understanding of current and emergent trends in manufacturing, and a passion for
helping manufacturers improve their processes.
Responsibilities
Product Strategy and Go-to-Market:
○ Develop a strategy for marketing Redzone's solutions in high-growth markets of
Automotive and Industrial manufacturers.
○ Articulate a compelling product message customized for those markets, aligned
with product capabilities. Understand, define and further develop use-cases.
○ Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to
identify unmet needs, opportunities, and emerging trends in industrial settings.
○ Partner with the Product Managers to understand the current product roadmap.
Provide feedback on current feature gaps in the market, prioritizing features and
initiatives based on business value and commercial impact.
○ Create content that is simultaneously aligned with overall Redzone strategy and
also reflective of unique use-cases and industries.
Sales Enablement:
○ Create compelling product messaging, positioning, and sales enablement
materials (e.g., presentations, demos, training content).
○ Maintain and refine messages to reflect changing markets, products, and macro-
trends.
○ As a subject matter expert, provide product expertise and support to sales teams
during customer engagements.
Stakeholder Management:
○ Communicate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including
leadership, sales, engineering, and customers, to ensure alignment and
transparency.
○ Represent Redzone at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings.
○ Work with the Public Relations team and support identified opportunities such as
select podcasts and webinars.
Position is remote anywhere in continental US. We are not able to sponsor visas for this role
This role requires travel up to 25%.
Qualifications:- 5+ years in an Operations, Quality, or Engineering role at an Automotive OEM or
- supplier.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to
- articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing processes, industrial automation, IIoT, and
- manufacturing compliance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to define metrics, analyze data, and make data-
- driven decisions.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and rapidly evolving environment.
- Experience with digital platforms for manufacturing, such as connected workforce solutions, ERP, or OEE tracking.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
Bonus:
- Prior experience in a startup or growth-stage company.
- Experience successfully launching and scaling complex software products.
Compensation Package:
- Base pay range: $105,000-130,000 USD Annual (12 Months) base salary + bonus plan
- Placement within our pay range will vary based on knowledge, skills, experience, and market location variations as well as internal peer equity.
