The IT Business Systems Analyst role leads the strategy and implementation of enterprise-wide IT risk and compliance programs. Responsible for administering, executing and analyzing a broad set of control-based activities to support UL Solutions IT Compliance and audit objectives. Collaborates with stakeholders throughout UL Solutions in the development and sustainment of trusted processes and procedures. Leads meetings to translate IT compliance and risk requirements into functional specification and manages the implementation of such requirements.
Responsibilities
- Analyzes audit results, prepares presentation of findings, and develops recommendations meant to reduce risk, increase protection of organizational assets and ensure compliance to existing laws, regulations and requirements that may impact UL Solutions.
- Prepares for and supports both internal and external Audits, working directly with audit peers to retrieve and organize evidence for critical assessments. Entrusted to facilitate necessary remediation findings to closure and sustainment.
- Leads continuous monitoring and testing of IT controls to assess the effectiveness of controls and processes which support an effective control environment.
- Point of contact for various compliance audits and assessments ensuring timely submission of evidence, coordination of audit fieldwork and remediation planning.
- Identifies and establishes IT Compliance requirements. Develops and implements strategies to enhance IT processes.
- Serves as a subject matter expert for IT risk management programs. Prepares key data utilized in the risk management program.
- Maintain, organize and store audit evidence in preparation for upcoming scheduled audits.
Qualifications
- University degree in Information Systems or a related discipline plus generally 5 years of directly related experience.
- Certification in one or all of the following is preferred: CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor), CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CIA (Certified Internal Auditor) or equivalent.
- Proven ability to handle multiple competing goals and projects simultaneously.
- Prior experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
- Service Now GRC experience is a plus
Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $90,000 to $120,000 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 10% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
