Production Floor Cleaner presso Stryten Energy

The Assembly (Cleaning) Utility’s main responsibility is 5S and the upkeep of cleanliness in the Assembly department. They will be using vacuums, walk behind floor scrubbers, mops, squeegees, rags, d-lead soap etc. They are required to follow the “wipe down flat surface” rotating schedule put out each month as part of a blood reduction initiative.

1st Shift

• Daily 5S and cleaning throughout the entire assembly department.
• Daily use of walk behind floor scrubber inside and out of down lines and all walkways.
• Weekly use of walk behind scrubber behind and between all lines
• Weekly cleaning of supervisor’s office.
• Bi-weekly top off all stacker and cos worker platforms with water.
• Must comply with safety and health regulations for protection of self and others. Required to shower with d-lead soap at the end of each work shift.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Collecting and disposing of trash including hazard waste materials.
• Perform any other work as assigned by Management including 5S cleaning.

• Repetitive lifting from grams up to 50 pounds.
• Continuous standing, walking, bending, twisting, pushing, pulling, and reaching, for 8hr shifts. Repetitious work.
• Must be able to wear personal protective equipment such as gloves, respirator, safety glasses, metatarsal guard shoes, etc., as required in established policy.
• Will be exposed to lead (dust, scrap plates, molten lead) and other hazards.
• Will be exposed to extreme environmental conditions (hot, cold, humid).
• Small hand tools, vacuums, floor scrubbers, squeegees, mops.
• Personal Protective Equipment as required.
• Excellent Multitasking Skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Self-Starter with the ability to work on own without constant supervision
• Able to obtain a material handler license is a plus
