The Opportunity

XOi is creating a Professional Services division to accelerate customer impact and fuel company growth, and we are seeking a Director of Professional Services to transform vision into reality by designing the strategy, building the team, and leading the execution that will establish Professional Services as a core driver of customer impact and company growth.

You have built Professional Services organizations multiple times in high-growth SaaS environments, taking them from concept to scalable, revenue-driving functions. You know what it takes to design for both customer impact and financial performance, from refining onboarding and implementing repeatable processes, to attracting and developing exceptional talent, and building models that scale profitably.

At XOi, you will have the opportunity to take Professional Services from its foundation stage into a strategic growth engine by defining the offerings, setting the standards, and scaling the organization to deliver measurable outcomes for customers and meaningful revenue impact for the business.

What You Will Do

Build, Lead & Scale the Professional Services Function

  • Establish and lead a strong team anchored in implementation and training, while shaping the future of Professional Services by identifying and integrating new roles and capabilities that expand its scope and impact.

  • Architect and operationalize scalable delivery models and best practices that ensure consistency, quality, and repeatability across customer engagements.

  • Mentor, coach, and develop team members, creating a culture of accountability, innovation, collaboration, and measurable customer outcomes.

  • Reimagine onboarding to accelerate Time to Value (TTV), improve customer readiness, and ensure smooth adoption.

  • Design and refine service offerings that address customer needs today while preparing for tomorrow’s growth opportunities.

  • Test, iterate, and scale new service lines based on market feedback and performance insights.

  • Partner with clients as a trusted advisor, ensuring Professional Services engagements consistently align with client goals and deliver measurable results such as accelerated TTV, improved CSAT, and stronger adoption.

Drive Delivery, Financial Performance & KPIs

  • Own the Professional Services commercial model across all customer segments, balancing customer value with financial performance.

  • Deliver against key metrics including Gross Revenue Retention (GRR), Net Revenue Retention (NRR), customer health scores, onboarding speed, and TTV.

  • Monitor and optimize utilization, margins, and delivery outcomes through data-driven decision-making and real-time performance tracking.

Enable Operational Excellence & Scalability

  • Lead capacity planning and resource allocation to ensure PS can meet forecasted demand without compromising delivery quality or profitability.

  • Build scalable staffing models that evolve with XOi’s growth across SMB, mid-market, and enterprise customers.

  • Partner with Customer Success Operations to implement and optimize the tools, systems, and workflows (e.g., project management platforms, LMS) needed for efficient, scalable delivery.

Collaborate & Influence Across the Business

  • Partner with Sales and Customer Success to co-develop the GTM playbook for Professional Services, positioning offerings effectively in the market.

  • Lead training and enablement to ensure revenue teams can articulate the value, scope, and pricing of Professional Services with confidence.

  • Collaborate on sales compensation structures that incentivize the right level of PS adoption and growth.

  • Work closely with Product to align service capabilities with product strategy, integration requirements, and roadmap priorities.

  • Represent Professional Services at the executive level, presenting strategy, progress, and financial outcomes, while shaping future priorities with data-driven insights.

What We Are Looking For

  • Experience: 5+ years in Professional Services leadership, with at least 3 years in people management, preferably within a B2B SaaS environment.

  • Organizational Builder: Proven success building and scaling Professional Services organizations multiple times, with a track record of creating repeatable delivery models and high-performing teams that drive both customer outcomes and revenue impact.

  • Strategic Leadership: Ability to define vision and translate it into action through clear strategy, operational excellence, and disciplined execution.

  • Financial Acumen: Strong P&L ownership experience, with the ability to design pricing strategies, manage margins, and optimize profitability while delivering customer value.

  • Operational Excellence: Expertise in capacity planning, onboarding optimization, and implementing repeatable processes supported by scalable tools such as project management platforms and LMS.

  • Customer Impact: Deep understanding of how Professional Services drives adoption, accelerates Time to Value, improves CSAT, and strengthens long-term retention (GRR/NRR).

  • Team Leadership: Demonstrated ability to attract, develop, and inspire talent while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and innovation.

  • Client Partnership: Proven ability to act as a trusted advisor to customers, with a track record of improving CSAT/NPS, accelerating TTV, and contributing to stronger GRR/NRR outcomes.

  • Cross-Functional Influence: Strong collaborator who can align Professional Services with Sales, Product, and Customer Success to create a seamless customer journey and revenue motion.

  • Executive Presence: Comfortable presenting strategy and results to the Executive Leadership Team, board members, and investors, with the ability to influence decision-making at the highest levels.

  • Industry Awareness: Bonus for experience in field service, industrial technology, or skilled trades, with the ability to translate market dynamics into relevant services.
