What is the purpose of this role?

As Integrated Media Specialist with Colgate-Palmolive, you’ll partner with our media agencies, as well as internal brand/marketing stakeholders. Your main responsibilities will be to:

  • Pioneer cutting edge multi-media strategies backed by data driven consumer insights

  • Consistently staying ahead of industry trends to drive impactful business results and ensure meaningful omni channel demand generation and meaningful consumer connected journeys.

  • Be agile in driving small and quick experiments with clear objectives and successfully scale up based on learnings.

  • Demonstrate clear expertise of all media planning principles for an Urban as well as Rural audience. 

  • Ensure gold standard execution/implementation

What would be the responsibilities for this role?

Omni-channel media planning

  • Have a deep understanding of traditional and digital media platforms and ensure best optimized media strategies are developed for audiences across the pyramid.

  • Ensure monthly campaign performance reporting and tracking of media KPIs and provide recommendations.

  • Identify market trends and evolving consumer media habits - recommend new media strategy.

  • Deep understanding of media analytics and guide media agencies to deliver media plans to deliver on media tasks and also manage buying efficiencies.

  • The media strategy should enable building the right brand experiences across relevant touch points across the consumer journey for the respective brands.

TV

  • Develop media strategy based on brand business objectives.

  • Ensure plan mix is optimized for target audience defined

  • Thorough understanding of category and competition media activities.

  • Ensure smooth execution and campaign performance tracking

Digital

  • Define the role of digital media and develop media plans with optimum media RnF levels.

  • Understanding of all planning and measurement tools. For eg.   Facebook ads manager, Google analytics to be able to independently evaluate and build media plans.

Performance tracking:

  • Timely & satisfactory execution of campaigns & delivery of post evals.

  • Out of the box thinking; disruptive media strategy

  • Build strong and effective media plans and strategy.

What does the ideal candidate profile look like?

  • We are looking for someone with minimum 7years of traditional and digital media  experience; Experience at Client or Agency leading media planning for CPG brand is a preference.

  • Education - Post-graduate with an MBA preferred 

What are the key functional competencies required for this role?

  • Deep understanding of TV, print, multi-platform digital and other ATL  media planning principles and tools used to build effective and efficient media plans.

  • Proven record of traditional and digital media plan building, optimisation and performance tracking skill.

  • Holistic understanding of TV and digital media.  Ability to articulate the role of media in a consumer journey of the brand.

  • Media Measurement, analytics & data driven decisions

  • Strong project management and drive process oriented ways of working with cross functional teams and agency partners to ensure smooth execution

  • Tools knowledge

    • Well versed with all media planning and measurement tools eg:  BARC, IRS, TGI

    • Standard digital reporting tools and ad-serving / bid Management technologies - Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager
