Job Description:We are looking for a Registered Nurse Trainer with critical care experience to teach Advanced Life Support. Especially desirable if you have the train the trainer course qualification through the ACCCN . The role involves a variety of training and assessment activities of healthcare workers. These include but are not limited to Basic Life Support algorithm and principles, Adult Advanced Life Support algorithm and principles, Advanced airway management including laryngeal mask airway insertion, Pharmacology including intraosseous cannulation and Post Resuscitation care
Trainers are provided with clear session plans and resources prior to undertaking training sessions. Assessment responsibilities include both practical observation and marking of theoretical tests. We have a highly diverse team with a wide range of experience in the healthcare field, actively contributing to the growth and upskilling of the healthcare and community services sectors.
You’ll be part of Healthcare Australia’s “team purple”. We offer regular, flexible hours and provide on-the-job support.
$68.50 per hour (inclusive of casual loading) + super

Based in Melbourne and out at client facilities across metro and regional VIC, you’ll deliver a mix of practical and theory-based training to healthcare workers.
Requirements of role
- A current Advanced Life Support (ALS)
- A current TAE40116 or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Current Train the Trainer with ACCCN desirable
- Current AHPRA registration.
- Must be an experienced RN with critical care experience
- Covid 19 vaccination certificate
