Job Overview: The Manager, Integrated Business Planning plays a key role in our North American Supply Chain and Business Planning process. This role will lead the team focused on building a strong consensus forecast and then aligning this forecast with a supply plan that meets overall business objectives. This role will drive forecast accuracy, maximize service levels, optimize inventory, and manage through business challenges to meet customer expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead function and team responsible for both Demand Planning and Supply Planning for North America.
- Ensure alignment between demand forecasting, inventory management, and financial objectives (revenue, inventory targets, EBITDA).
- Lead monthly Demand Review to gain consensus with Commercial Sales, Marketing, and Finance for the process horizon of 6-12 months.
- Drive Account level forecasting process which will include monitoring and analyzing customer specific data/trends: point of sale, inventory, in stock levels and orders. Monitor the flow of customer specific demand plans through the enterprise software tools and process.
- Manage collaborative forecasting processes established with specific accounts. Develop, foster, and maintain relationships with sales, account buyers and account replenishment analysts to stay informed of promotional activity, plan-o-gram changes, and replenishment strategies impacting the forecast.
- Facilitate weekly consensus meetings to discuss account/channel forecasted requirements and close gaps on any issues. Consistently, communicates major changes, issues to Brand Marketing/Trade Marketing/Supply Planning/Sales.
- Ensure that promotional programs are maintained accurately. Demonstrate thorough account/channel knowledge to validate historical and forecast data to accurately reflect the business plan.
- Develop inventory strategy that maximizes inventory turns, improves overall customer fill rate, and limits risks to Excess and Obsolescence.
- Lead monthly Supply review which balances inventory strategy, supply, and production constraints across global supply chain network. Provide key inputs to drive Executive S&OP.
- Measure, monitor and report key performance metrics. Obtain feedback, analyze results, perform root cause analysis and generate reports.
- Obtain information from various systems, such as S4/HANA, Business Warehouse, Customer sites, and others as needed.
- Identify root cause and develop countermeasures on key metrics which include forecast accuracy and delivery on time.
- Work with customer service teams to resolve any issues related to shipping, damages, or delivery delays.
- Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on S4/Hana MRP and SAP IBP.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- 7+ years of experience in Demand and/or Supply Planning Functions.
- Experience in managing global supply chain with multiple sourcing and distribution locations preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple functions and regions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Preferred Skills:
- Certifications such as ASCM CPIM or IBF Certified Professional Forecaster (CPF) or similar supply chain/logistics credentials.
