Overview:

GDC IT Solutions is currently seeking an Integration Developer to work in a hybrid capacity, with 3–4 days on-site per month in Harrisburg, PA. This position offers the opportunity to work on high-impact tolling modernization projects involving cutting-edge payment and integration technologies in a collaborative enterprise environment.

As an Integration Developer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining complex integrations across a diverse technology landscape including SAP S/4HANA, Microsoft Dynamics 365, IVR systems, Azure cloud services, and various third-party platforms. You will architect, develop, and optimize backend services and APIs that support secure digital payment processing and large-scale system interoperability, all while ensuring high performance, scalability, and compliance with industry standards. This role involves hands-on development, technical leadership, and collaboration with stakeholders across disciplines.

Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .Net and Go (Golang).

  • Build and optimize APIs, microservices, and cloud-native distributed systems.

  • Architect scalable, resilient technical integrations across SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure services, IVR, and external systems in support of tolling projects.

  • Connect enterprise systems including cloud telephony, middleware, document management platforms, and mobile/web apps to ensure seamless operation.

  • Lead technical solutioning with hands-on leadership and mentorship for development teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Evaluate and recommend digital payment platforms, APIs, and third-party integration services.

  • Implement robust data protection, encryption, and fraud prevention measures.

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as PCI DSS, SOX, SOC2/3, HIPAA, ISO 27001, and CSA.

  • Optimize system performance, transaction processing speed, and reliability.

  • Identify technical risks and propose effective mitigation strategies.

  • Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code and participate in peer reviews.

  • Fully document all technical and functional design work using PTC-provided templates and standards.

  • Analyze integration models for high-volume systems and reduce unnecessary data replication.

  • Act as a continuous improvement agent by streamlining data flows and optimizing performance.

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with technical staff, vendors, and stakeholders.

  • Perform tasks and responsibilities independently, while adhering to PTC policies and procedures.

  • Participate in enterprise systems projects and other tasks as assigned by the PTC.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience as a senior developer or similar role integrating SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Azure cloud services, IVR systems, and external systems in high-volume contact center environments.

  • 5+ years of experience developing and maintaining payment processing applications, including support for modern digital payment methods. (8+ years preferred.)

  • 3+ years of hands-on backend development experience with GoLang.

  • 3+ years of backend development experience with .Net.

  • Strong knowledge of RESTful API design and decentralized microservices architecture.

  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes containerization.

  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.

  • Solid understanding of concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning in both Go and .Net.

  • Experience with version control and DevOps tools including ADO, Git, and Agile workflows.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft ADO Testing Module.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing integrations in tolling environments (e.g., toll collection, traffic management systems).

  • Experience with message queue systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Helm.
  • Background in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
  • Prior experience working with PTC tolling solutions.
  • Solid understanding of tolling industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with IVR systems in tolling or customer-facing environments.
  • Strong understanding of Azure government/commercial cloud platforms (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Master’s preferred.)
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies using Microsoft Azure DevOps.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in large-scale tolling system contexts.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with enterprise SAP projects and ITIL/ITSM practices.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
