Shipping & Receiving Specialist presso Terminix Service, Inc.

Terminix Service, Inc. in Columbia SC is seeking a detail-oriented and hardworking individual to join our team as a full time Shipping & Receiving Specialist. The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic professional with excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment. • Pay starts at $18 - $20 per hr. depending on relevant work experience.

JOB DUTIES

• Efficiently manage incoming and outgoing shipments in accordance with UPS, FedEx, and USPS procedures
• Maintain accurate inventory and ensure timely, error-free order fulfillment
• Process product shipments and expenses while adhering to company standards
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (Forklift certification preferred)
• Database Management Systems: Interact with computer software to produce, print and distribute reports
• Perform physical tasks such as lifting, carrying, bending, and standing for extended periods

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills
• Prior experience in shipping and receiving, preferably in a mailroom or warehouse setting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy
• Familiarity with shipping procedures and logistics (UPS, FedEx, USPS).
• Experience with IBM i Series is a plus.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including lifting up to 60 lbs., and performing repetitive motions.
• Applicants need have a valid driver's license, clean background check, and able to pass a drug test.
