Strategy & PMI (post-merger integration) Officer, you will play a vital
role in shaping the company’s direction. In close collaboration with Avril
Corporate Strategy and M&A, you will drive growth through mergers,
acquisitions, and strategic partnerships. You will also support business
reviews and ensure that strategic initiatives are successfully implemented and
deliver measurable impact.

Your responsibilities
You will collaborate with Oleon’s senior leadership and
Avril’s Corporate Strategy department to develop and implement the company’s
strategic plan. Together with commercial teams, you will conduct market
research and competitive analysis, identify growth opportunities, and evaluate
industry trends. By providing risk and opportunity assessments as well as
mitigation plans, you will contribute directly to shaping Oleon’s long-term
strategy.
You will actively support mergers and acquisitions. This
includes assisting in due diligence, preparing for post-merger integration, and
ensuring a smooth handover to PMO after closing. Depending on the scope of
M&A activities, you may also lead post-merger integration projects
yourself, taking on the PMO role to guarantee seamless execution and
realization of synergies.
You will be responsible for strong project governance,
establishing project charters, defining scope, objectives, and deliverables,
and creating detailed project plans. You will monitor performance, align
initiatives with organizational goals, set clear targets for each workstream,
and ensure responsibilities and decision-making authority are well defined
across all stakeholders.
As project lead, you will oversee day-to-day execution.
You will motivate and guide the project team, assign tasks, and ensure the
right resources are in place. By monitoring progress and keeping timelines and
scope under control, you will safeguard the delivery of results.
Finally, you will formalize project closure by assessing
outcomes, capturing lessons learned, and ensuring a smooth handover to business
operations. Your work will ensure that Oleon continuously improves and that
every project strengthens our operational and strategic foundations.
