This position is for the 2025-2026 school year.
NOTICE OF POSSIBLE WAIVER: Per KRS 160.380, to expedite the hiring for this position, the district may apply for a waiver to prevent disruption of necessary instructional or support services.
Perform advanced-level secretarial duties requiring independent judgment and analysis for the Director of Pupil Personnel, organize and coordinate office activities and communications.

This position is for 8 hours per day and 261 days per year.
Contracted days will be adjusted depending on the start date.

- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent and provide a copy to HR uponrecommendation to hire.
- Experience: Two years of increasingly responsible secretarial and clerical experience
Step 0: $18.57 per hour
Step 10: $22.38 per hour
New employees to the district may bring in up to 10 years of comparable, full-time, verified experience. (NOTE: It will be the responsibility of the applicant hired to submit the BCPS verification of experience form to their prior employer to complete and return to HR.)
Although Classified positions are paid on an hourly rate, salary is set up on a year-long contract and divided by the number of remaining paychecks. This position is considered a eleven month employee on the pay schedule. 3 paychecks will be paid at the end of June.
