Keytronic Oakdale, MN facility is seeking a Shipping Operator to Stock and transact finish goods. Pack and ship out product using proper methods to meet customer demand and due dates. Stock and transact incoming material once it has been processed by receiving department.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.)
- Primary responsibilities include the ability to pack and ship customer orders.
- Capable of obtaining a forklift certification.
- Ability to operate a forklift, manual forklift, and pallet jack to load and unload, move or stack materials or products.
- Provide timely loading and off-loading of products from delivering trucks.
- Using both manual and mechanized equipment.
- Ability to operate a computer system utilizing CMS.
SUPERVISION GIVEN/RECEIVED
Is supervised by the Director of Supply Chain and Shipping Supervisor and has no direct supervisory responsibility.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, talk, hear, and see. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, stand, walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or reach with hands and arms. The environment is fast-paced, time pressured, and requires accuracy. The employee will regularly multi-task between projects, be required to move throughout the office building and production floor. Effectively communicate orally and written.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Qualifications
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Between 1 and 3 years of shipping experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Excel, Word, Data Entry, and 10-key desired
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Basic math skills and the ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in English.
- The ability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. is required.
- Candidates must be able to be forklift certified.
