As the Investment Operations Specialist, you will bring your passion for client service, product innovation, product growth and program execution to this critical role. Your experience and drive will play a major role in the ongoing development of this market and Computershare’s solution delivery.
A role you will love
This role is responsible for the liaison with Corporate Action Client Operations Engagement, Front office and various internal stakeholder departments in preparing, managing, and executing end-to-end processing. This includes and is not limited to, organizing associated Corporate Action tasks, document production, system set up and reporting.
Some of your duties will include:
Review Letters of transmittal, stock certificates and other documents submitted for complex, sensitive, and manual corporate actions to ascertain whether they are properly completed and duly executed in accordance with the instructions set forth in the Letters of Transmittal.
Verify wire instructions, international currency exchange form, if applicable, and update wire spreadsheet .
Review restriction library and apply appropriate legend if applicable. Conduct quality review on work that has been processed. Responsible for research and reconciliation.
Assist in processing validly submitted Corporate Actions items. Responsible for research, reconciliation and account maintenance.
May be required to contact clients and vendors as needed.
Other duties or tasks as assigned by management.
What will we need from you?
Required:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year College or University or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2 - 4 years of Financial Services/Transfer Agent experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Project and have working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Vendor relationship skills.
Preferred:
Extensive knowledge of COSMOS (incl maintenance), Workflow, SCRIP, ATOP including reporting.
