Job Summary:

The Capture & Proposal Analyst provides research, data analysis, and proposal support to drive the organization’s pursuit of new federal contracts and task orders. Working closely with the Business Development and Capture teams, this role supports opportunity identification, pipeline growth, competitor analysis, and proposal development activities to ensure the company remains competitive in the Department of War (DoW) contracting environment, and in alignment with company strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Space Force Military Satellite Communications (MILSATCOM) domain knowledge to support technical solutioning and proposal development.
  • Coordinate and conduct customer engagement to gain insights and the voice of the customer.  
  • Support capture activities by gathering competitor intelligence, customer insights, and market trends.
  • Assist Proposal/Capture Manager with RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses, including drafting sections, compiling materials, and coordinating with technical SMEs.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, and presentations to inform leadership and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Operations, Contracts, Finance, Technical SMEs) to support compliant and competitive proposals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business development, capture, and proposal initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience in lieu of degree. A master’s degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Experience: 8+ years of MILSATCOM domain experience. 
  • Clearance Requirement: Top Secret
  • Minimum Skills Required:
    • Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes, contract vehicles, and federal procurement lifecycle.
    • Strong research, writing, and communication skills; able to synthesize complex information for leadership.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
    • Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
    • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions to non-technical audiences.
  • Preferred Skills: 
    • Experience supporting MILSATCOM missions with Air/Space Force.
    • Familiarity with capture management processes and strategic opportunity assessment.
    • Experience in preparing and delivering technical presentations to clients.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

  • Primarily office-based with possibility of occasional travel to client sites.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • May require extended hours during project implementations and proposal deadlines.

Work Schedule:

This is a full-time position, typically working 40 hours per week. Flexibility to work outside of regular business hours, if needed, to meet proposal deadlines and client requirements.
