Key Departmental Responsibilities
· Lead AP Packaging Associates in performing processes by following established methods and procedures to accurately prepare and package parts.
· Verify correct part numbers and quantities picked. Package part numbers in accordance with the work order and associated work build instructions.
· Assist Warehouse Lead with inventory cycle counting program when required, aid Warehouse Lead in securing warehouse contents against loss.
· Verify accuracy of picked parts, components, labels, and packaging materials.
· Ensure components are not damaged or missing parts.
· Accurately record all transactions in the ERP.
· Maintain clean and organized work areas, output bins, and stocking locations per 5S standards.
· Train employees in work instructions and packaging information systems.
· Complete close out process for packaging work orders as needed
· Be able asses' issues and execute fixes, when possible, under the supervision of Senior Packaging Lead.
· Assist in continuous improvement and maintain a willingness to adapt to new procedures and processes.
· Act as a resource for Packaging Associates to answer questions, solve problems, and provide constructive feedback.
· Maintain a willingness to accept new responsibilities and be held accountable for all parts leaving your work area.
· Must be cross trained and available to work on all packaging lines.
· Monitor the safety of employees in the department in accordance with OSHA standards; interrupt and correct any dangerous behaviors.

Skills & Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent required. Previous warehouse supervision/management experience beneficial. Forklift operator certification (training provided on-site if needed). Customer service oriented. Well organized. Detail oriented. A self-starter with initiative and proven willingness to assume ownership for areas of responsibility. Ability to make informed decisions quickly and independently. Strong interpersonal communication and employee relations skills and have ability to train others to these skills. Must have the ability to lift up to fifty pounds on a regular basis.
