Strapping Machine Operator presso General Shale Brick

General Shale Brick, North America's largest manufacturer of clay bricks and other masonry materials, is seeking a Strapping Machine Operator for our facility in Columbia, SC.

RESPONSIBILITIES:       

• Operate strapping lines
• Observe and ensure pack quality is being met and repair any damaged packs.
• Perform routine quality checks and Strap tensions

EDUCATION:                     

• High school

WORK EXPERIENCE:      

• Strapper Machine experience preferred
• Mechanical skills
• Forklift driving experience
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions
• Ability to work in a team

SKILLS REQUIRED:         

• Experience operating equipment using a panel view
• Experience driving forklift
• Ability to follow procedures
• Mechanical Inclined
• Attention to detail
• Teamwork
• Physical Stamina and Strength
