The Palm Springs Unified School District has sixteen elementary schools, five middle schools, four comprehensive high schools, one continuation high school, alternative education programs, one independent study program, and several headstart/state preschools. Required Documents
The requirements below will be required for promotional PSUSD employees only once an offer is made:
- A food Service Handler's Certificate, issued by the County Health Department
- Valid Driver’s License and Evidence of Insurability (for Rover positions)
- Print out of DMV H-6 form (good driving record documentation) will be requested directly from DMV.
- Completion of Target Success Sketch is required for everyone. An application without this questionnaire may subject applicant to disqualification. If you have not taken the Target Success Sketch questionnaire, you will be prompted to complete it during the application process. If you have already taken it, it will automatically attach to your application with no notification.
Applications not completed in it's entirety will not be considered.
Requirements / Qualifications
A current probationary or permanent employee in the posted classification may apply for this transfer opportunity. All other PSUSD employees may also apply for this promotional opportunity if they have completed their probationary period in their current classification.

SUMMARY:
Under the direction of the Field Supervisor – Nutrition Services, assist in receiving, storing quantity preparation and serving of foods at an assigned school cafeteria site; provide support in the maintenance of school kitchen and cafeteria facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Any combination equivalent to: graduation from high school and completion of formal or informal education sufficient to ensure the ability to read and write at the level required for successful job performance.
Passage of a physical exam for this classification is also required if coming from a different classification.
