Apollo is a specialised independent (re)insurer, established in 2009, to deliver top-tier products and services to clients, brokers, and capital partners at Lloyd’s. The name "Apollo" was inspired by the achievements of one of its founding investors, Neil Armstrong, the first person to walk on the moon in 1969. Together with Jim Hays, Neil identified an opportunity to create a unique service provider within Lloyd’s.
Since its inception, Apollo has significantly broadened its portfolio of insurance solutions. This includes Apollo 1969’s traditional and specialty lines, ibott 1971’s innovative sharing economy products, and managing agency services at Lloyd’s through our Platform Partner Syndicates. Your Role:
We are looking for a Digital Product professional who can show real commercial impact from what their team delivers. Apollo is at an exciting point as we shift our digital capabilities into agile, product-led ways of working. As Product Lead, you will shape the vision, guide the delivery, and inspire your team to achieve results that make a difference to the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Define the vision and strategy for your product area, turning complex problems into clear solutions
- Build trusted relationships across technical and business teams, securing buy-in and alignment on priorities
- Take ownership of the roadmap, managing budgets, resources, and progress through governance forums
- Use data and insight to prioritise, measure, and learn, focusing on outcomes that deliver real value
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and growth within your squad
.What We Are Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Product Lead or Product Manager in a regulated environment, delivering digital products with measurable value
- Experience with AI agents or machine learning-driven solutions (highly desirable)
- Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills, with the ability to balance quick wins with long-term outcomes
- Skilled in problem definition, solution design, data-driven decision making, and roadmap execution
- Clear leadership capability to coach, motivate, and empower cross-functional teams while managing budgets and resources effectively
- Excellent communication skills, able to articulate product vision, strategy, and value to both technical and non-technical audiences
