Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:

As a Senior Allocations Coordinator, you play an integral part of the sales and distribution processes. You work cross-functionally with our internal MP&A, Supply Chain, Commercial, and Merchandising teams to ensure your assigned Strategic Accounts have the right product, at the right time, so that they can deliver an exceptional guest experience.  You act as an extension of the leadership team, helping to develop the Allocations Coordinator team through mentorship and training.

This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet Your Future Team:
The Merchandise Planning & Allocation (MP&A) team is a cross functional group whose focus is to continuously drive sales and margin, while mitigating inventory risks by finding the balance between the right product at the right quantity in the right place at the right time.


A reasonable estimate of the pay range is $70,000 - $97,000 at the time of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly transferable experience.

If you were in a Senior Allocations Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Monitoring and interpret allocation, escalating delays and risks, and creating ad-hoc reports for stakeholders as required
  • You support the leadership team in prioritizing day to day tasks against strategic priorities
  • Managing the order book fulfillment process, ensuring order releases are accurate, timely, and delivered according to the customer requirements
  • Utilizing your business acumen to support the team in managing quarterly and weekly priorities
  • Effective use of resources to attain strategic goals and hit positioned stage gates
  • You exemplify the best of the Arc’teryx Leadership Code and bring it to the team’s day to day work
  • Collaborating with the Allocations Leadership team to lead in mastery and lead others ensuring a strong culture of growth and development
  • Partnering with relevant teams to ensure systems are working as expected
  • Acting as the hub for communication between the retail stores, wholesale customers, territory managers, and internal operational teams
  • Providing exceptional support and prompt responses to our guest-facing teams in your assigned doors
  • Supporting various departmental initiatives, including hiring and providing mentorship to new allocations team members
  • Providing leadership coverage when people leaders is out of the business
  • Using your strong business acumen and technical skills to evolve processes and document change
  • Understanding and implementing strategy for your key accounts and the support of the team as a whole
  • Supporting cross-channel initiatives between Wholesale and DTC
  • Travelling occasionally for key stage gates and/or market visits
  • Supporting the team with additional tasks as required to help achieve company objectives
  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain


  • Here are some of the things you could be working on in the future:
  • Assisting in driving sales initiatives and programs
  • Onboarding new Strategic Accounts to EDI implementation
  • Creating a new seasonal fulfillment review process and driving action with cross functional partners
  • Identifying, highlighting, and investigating inventory discrepancies with the support of leadership and cross-functional partners
  • Supporting the identification of regional shortages and overages for the Open To Buy (OTB) process
  • Creating stock transfer orders according to seasonal product flow plans and managing them through to delivery at your assigned brand stores and factory outlets
  • Liaising with Supply Chain and Merchandising teams to coordinate smooth integration of replenishment and seasonal product drops


  • Are you our next Senior Allocations Coordinator?
  • You have a minimum 1+ year experience in an Allocations Coordinator or Dealer Service role
  • You have a broad knowledge of order book management processes across all customer groups
  • You have a strong awareness of industry best practices
  • You have experience working with SAP, specifically S/4 HANA
  • You have a strong working knowledge of Arc’teryx products and technologies
  • You work effectively in a highly self-directed environment
  • You can identify and communicate key business insights to management and team
  • You have a proven ability to mentor, train, and coach your peers
  • You have a track record of supporting leadership and are a champion of departmental initiatives
  • You have highly effective verbal and written communication skills
  • You have a proven ability to host meetings, interacting comfortably with people at all levels
  • You are proactive and comfortable communicating with customers via phone and email
  • You have strong organizational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • You demonstrate attention to detail, including accurate data entry skills
  • You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
  • You have a proven ability to navigate the nuances of Enterprise Resource Planning tools (ERPs)
  • You are proactive in identifying the root cause of issues and developing solutions
  • You remain highly flexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity
  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration
  • You seek the best (sometimes not the easiest) solutions with unwavering commitment
