United Wambo Joint Venture (UWJV) is a 50:50 joint venture between Glencore and Peabody who have developed a brownfields expansion that combines the new open cut at United with the existing open cut at Wambo. The UWJV is a Glencore managed operation producing up to 10 million ROM tonnes per annum.  

Reporting to the Supply Coordinator, and as an integral member of the Commercial team, the primary purpose of this role is to effectively and efficiently perform all store functions; including goods receipting, operation of mobile plant and sourcing goods to obtain best total cost of ownership and availability. You will be proactive in your approach to continuous improvement, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Analysing, monitoring and reporting on anomalies and discrepancies within the procurement process will be a critical part of this role.

Previous experience in a supply or warehousing role, or a related discipline is a pre-requisite. Experience operating with SAP is required. A Certificate or Diploma in Purchasing or Inventory Management is desirable. You will have experience with Microsoft Office applications, be well organised and have an efficient approach, delivering positive outcomes.  Your proven relationship building skills will be complemented by well-developed interpersonal and influencing abilities.

This role requires an individual who can drive compliance with process, challenge non-conformances and be proactive in approach.

United Wambo Joint Venture is located at Warkworth, approximately 20 kilometres west of Singleton in the NSW Hunter Valley. This is a residential based role on a Monday to Friday (5 / 2) roster.
