Position Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation operations at our private label food manufacturing facility. You’ll ensure our plant meets the highest standards of cleanliness, food safety, and regulatory compliance while driving efficiency and continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Lead, train, and supervise the sanitation team across shifts.
• Create and manage daily, weekly, and master sanitation schedules.
• Oversee cleaning and sanitizing of equipment, tools, and facility infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, OSHA, SQF, and other regulations.
• Conduct audits, inspections, and swab testing programs.
• Partner with production and maintenance to coordinate sanitation during downtime.
• Implement best practices and identify process improvements.
• Recruit, train, and mentor sanitation staff while fostering a culture of safety and accountability. 

What You’ll Need

• Bachelor’s degree in food science, Microbiology, or related field (preferred) or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing, including 2+ years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations (FDA, USDA, HACCP, GMPs, SQF/BRC).
• Proficiency with sanitation chemicals, CIP systems, and cleaning equipment.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as needed.
