After more than 50 years developing, manufacturing, and distributing skincare products, Groupe Laboratoire Rivadis (Rivadis) has longstanding medical credibility, gained through decades of serving hospitals, maternity clinics and other healthcare institutions. The company has developed a large product range intended for fragile populations, notably serving infants and the elderly, under the Rivadouce and Milton brands. The company also owns Auriège, a leading French cosmetics brand specialized in direct retail sales.
Rivadis gathers 170 people and generates close to €50m revenue.
ARCHIMED have just acquired Rivadis and is looking for a CFO. The CFO will be at the forefront of enhancing operational efficiency and ensuring financial reporting excellence. You will work closely with senior leadership to streamline operations, optimize costs, and ensure clarity and precision in financial reporting. Your strategic insight will be pivotal in implementing cost-cutting measures, product portfolio pruning, and supporting the company's post-acquisition growth trajectory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the financial planning and analysis processes to foster an environment of financial transparency and strategic insight.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives, including identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing best practices across the organization.
- Collaborate with the executive team to streamline product offerings and refine the company's product portfolio for optimal profitability.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and timely preparation of financial statements.
- Develop and implement robust financial controls and processes to safeguard company assets and enhance operational effectiveness.
- Work closely with ARCHIMED investment team on M&A and with the banks on financing
- Support strategic decision-making through detailed financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Engage with stakeholders to communicate financial performance and strategic recommendations effectively.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a CFO or in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within a private equity or fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Strong background in operational excellence, with a successful track record of implementing cost-saving and efficiency initiatives.
- Deep knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Exceptional analytical, strategic planning, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Full proficiency in French and English
