Acuity is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to support the full-cycle recruitment process, primarily for entry to mid-level positions, including interns and entry-level classes. This role focuses on screening, interviewing, and offer management. The talent specialist coordinates with Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist(s) and/or Manager to ensuring a positive hiring manager and candidate experience, as well as contributes to TA-related events and initiatives as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

  •  Full-Cycle Recruitment and Candidate Relationship Management:
    • Manage the full-cycle recruitment process for assigned positions.
    • Evaluate job candidates to ensure that they meet job specifications and standards.
    • Conduct thorough interviews and assessments.
    • Extend offers to selected candidates, including the communication of employee benefit information.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates.
    • Provide a positive and professional candidate experience.
    • Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
    • Prepare and maintain employment and applicant records.
    • Develop basic understanding of industry terms and begin building relationships with hiring managers.
    • Support the relationship between Senior Talent Acquisition Specialists/Manager and department leadership.
  •  Recruitment Strategy and Process:
    • Contribute to the development of recruitment strategies and initiatives.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Build working knowledge of P&C industry trends.
    • Identify opportunities for process improvement.
  •  Other
    • May contribute to and/or lead talent acquisition-related initiatives.
    • As needed, assist with orientation and onboarding processes and events.
    • As assigned, represent Acuity at career fairs, industry events, classroom visits and presentations, and assist with onsite visits.
    • Adhere to company policies and practices.
    • Comply with all state and federal regulations in all aspects of human resources management.
    • Contribute to reports of individual and department activity and results.
    • Maintain professional approach with confidentiality. Assure protection and privacy of health information as attained through written, electronic or oral disclosures.
    • Regular and predictable attendance.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree preferred. 

EXPERIENCE:

Two (2) or more years of experience in recruitment or a related field.

This job is classified as exempt.  

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $90,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
