Position Summary:
- Receives, prepares, packages, serves and cleans up following grab-and-go or congregate meal programs.
- Work hours: 8:00a to 1:00p, Monday through Friday.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Receives, counts and signs off on caterer's invoice.
- Cleans and maintains kitchen and equipment to meet food safety standards.
- Completes daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports as required.
- Prepares and serves refreshments for participants as needed.
- Cleans and maintains participant dining room.
- Stores, heats and serves meals according to caterer's specification.
- Packages home delivered meals according to caterer's specification.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in food service.
- ServSafe certified (preferred).

This job operates in a kitchen and food service environment. This role routinely uses standard kitchen equipment.
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard and telephone.
- Light to moderate lifting is required, up to 25 pounds.
- Exposed to kitchen environment conditions.
- Regular, predictable attendance is required.
- Moderate noise environment.
- Ability to work in a confined area.
- Ability to stand for an extended period of time.
- Work environment is stressful at times.
