JOB OVERVIEW
Job Description The Target Hiring Range for this position is: $120,000-$132,000 The United State Senate Sergeant at Arms is seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Supervisor to help lead the Senate Photographic Services (SPS) team, which documents the history and work of the U.S. Senate through photography, short-form video and emerging visual technologies. This role demands strong leadership, expert problem-solving skills, and the ability to keep complex operations running smoothly in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment. As the central leadership position under the SPS Manager, the Senior Supervisor is charged with sustaining the Senate’s long-standing tradition of high-quality visual documentation, while also guiding staff through modernization efforts. This is more than a supervisory role; it’s a responsibility to lead the team entrusted with capturing and preserving the Senate’s visual record, ensuring that history is documented with consistency, integrity, and excellence.
Key Accountabilities/Essential Job Duties
Oversees daily operations and service delivery across SPS teams including photography, video, post-production, and customer service. Supervises assigned staff; responsible for annual performance evaluations, scheduling, and leave approval in accordance with SAA policy. Coordinates staffing, resource allocation, and priorities to ensure timely, high-quality services for Senate clients. Acts as primary liaison for customer service and internal process coordination across SPS sections. Collaborates and ensure operational readiness of essential software, hardware, and data workflows. Other duties, as assigned.

2. Be lawfully admitted for permanent residence and seeking citizenship as outlined in 8 U.S.C. § 1324b(a)(3)(B);
