Warehouse 1 - MFG presso TEXAS PIPE AND SUPPLY COMPANY

 PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Checks in shipments and places material on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined size, type, or product code.
2. Picks orders according to work order and/or sales order.
3. Packs orders in compliance with company procedures.
4. Operates shredder machinery.
5. Drives forklift to move material throughout the plant and warehouse.
6. Perform clean up duties in the warehouse.
7. Other duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Provide on the job training to new employees as needed.
2. Follow all safety and health policies and procedures issued by the company.

  KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
2. Ability to read tape measure accurately.
3. Manual dexterity required for operating machinery and computers.
4. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds required.
5. Forklift certification required.
6. Basic press skills preferred.

  WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions are normal for a manufacturing environment. Work involves frequent lifting of materials up to 50 pounds. Machinery and tool operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to steel toed work boots, safety glasses and gloves.

Steel toed boots, safety glasses and gloves.
