- This role is an internship in our 70-strong global investment team. You will be supporting the whole private equity investment lifecycle: deal sourcing, deal execution and portfolio monitoring
- You will be part of our MidCap investment team and will work within one of Astorg's priority sectors (healthcare, technology, business services)
- Start date: immediate / near-term (Oct or Nov 2025)
- Duration: 6 months
- Location: London (Fridays remote)
- Compensation: In line with market standards
Day-to-day responsibilities
- Supporting formation of investment theses on potential acquisition targets
- Performing research to gather information about companies of interest
- Conducting operational and financial modelling
- Preparing syntheses, analyses and memos to present businesses internally
- Presenting points of view on investment opportunities
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Numerical / business degree preferred (Maths, Engineering, Economics, Business, Finance, Physics, etc.), with outstanding academic track record
- Previous internship experience in M&A investment banking, Management Consulting or Private Equity is highly preferred
- Native or fluent English speaker, other European languages (French, German, Italian) an advantage
- Strong analytical skills
- Good communication skills and verbal reasoning
- Ability to work under pressure and independently, and manage deadlines
- True team player
- Enjoys entrepreneurial environments where autonomy and initiative are encouraged
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- UK right to work preferred (pre-settlement / settlement / Visa / Citizenship)
