Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced, entrepreneurial, and visionary leader to head our Supply Chain Design Practice in North America. In this high-impact role, you will combine strategic oversight with hands-on leadership to deliver complex transformation projects and shape the future of supply chain design for North American and global clients.
As the Practice Lead, you will:
· Drive business growth through client development and innovative service offerings
· Lead a high-performing team of consultants and managers
· Influence C-suite executives on transformative supply chain strategies
· Represent Miebach as a thought leader within the industry

Key Responsibilities
Practice & Project Leadership
· Define and execute the strategic vision for the Supply Chain Design Practice in alignment with Miebach’s global objectives.
· Lead and oversee large-scale transformation initiatives, including:
· Supply network design and footprint optimization
· Inventory strategy and cost-to-serve modeling
· End-to-end supply chain resilience and scenario planning
· Ensure consistent project excellence through executive-level governance, methodology alignment, and quality assurance.
· Partner with global Centers of Excellence to develop innovative tools, methodologies, and solutions.
Client Engagement & Business Development
· Act as a trusted advisor to senior executives, shaping their strategic decisions and long-term supply chain roadmaps.
· Lead business development efforts, including proposal creation, RFP responses, and solution pitching.
· Expand Miebach’s presence within key strategic accounts and cultivate new client relationships.
· Represent Miebach at industry conferences, forums, and thought leadership events.
Team Leadership & People Development
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of consultants, managers, and senior experts to achieve their full potential.
· Build organizational capabilities by recruiting, onboarding, and developing top supply chain talent.
· Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performance culture across the practice.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related field; MBA preferred.
· Experience:
o 12+ years in supply chain strategy, design, or consulting
o At least 5 years in senior leadership roles, managing teams and client relationships
o Proven success in driving supply chain transformation initiatives and network optimization programs
· Technical Expertise:
o Proficiency with leading optimization and modeling tools (e.g., Llamasoft – supply chain guru, Optilogic, AIMMS)
o Strong data-driven problem-solving skills and advanced analytics mindset
· Consulting Background: Previous experience in a top-tier consulting environment strongly preferred.
· Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, executive presence, and stakeholder management capabilities.
