As a specialist should have strong working experience in the area of SAP Basis on SAP System Builds, Upgrades, S/4 Conversions, Migrations, Familiar with RISE concepts, Production Support, Archiving and Performance Tuning (Preferably in SQL server 2019 and later, HANA systems).

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Proven experience in sizing, building, and operating SAP Intelligent Suite systems across hybrid environments (IaaS & PaaS).

• Ability to collaborate effectively with functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver appropriate technical solutions.

• Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL) and SAP HANA, particularly in performance tuning and administrative tasks.

• In-depth experience in Data archiving and data volume management for SAP systems running on both HANA and SQL databases.

• Hands-on experience with end-to-end planning, preparation, and execution of SAP ERP and S/4HANA implementations and migrations.

• Proficient in OS/DB/hardware migrations using tools and methods like SUM, DMO, and HSR, especially in hybrid infrastructure setups.

• Experienced in conducting system upgrades including EHP, S/4HANA upgrades, and Support Package Stack (SPS)updates.

• Capable of managing mission-critical 24/7 production environments with high availability requirements.

• Strong working knowledge of SAP products including ECC, S/4HANA, BW/4HANA, and SAP Process Orchestration (PO).

• Familiar with SAP security hardening and system optimization best practices, Performance tuning.

• Skilled in system copy, system refresh, and database refresh activities.

• Practical knowledge of backup and restore procedures for both HANA and MSSQL databases.

• Experienced in designing and managing business continuity solutions, including clustering, high availability (HA), and disaster recovery (DR) for SAP landscapes.

• Proficient in Linux and Windows OS administration relevant to SAP system operations.

• Experience in SAP Basis capacity planning, resource management, and proposal preparation.
  Working knowledge of SAP BTP service activation and integration scenarios.

• Good to have ability to demonstrate as cross functional and ability to work in a collaborative team environment

   

SAP Certifications as Added Advantage

• SAP S/4 HANA Conversion and Upgrade

• SAP OS/DB Migration Certified  

• SAP S/4 HANA Administration

• Any Public cloud Certifications preferably SAP Specialized like SAP on AWS, SAP Workloads in Azure etc                                                   

Educational qualification:

• BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)

Experience :

• 10+ years of SAP Basis experience
