Job Summary
Harley-Davidson is seeking an energetic, organized, and creative Event Coordinator to plan and execute engaging events that showcase the Harley-Davidson lifestyle and strengthen our connection with the community. The ideal candidate is personable, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced environment and can multi-task. This role involves everything from developing event concepts to handling logistics, coordinating with vendors, promoting events, and ensuring smooth execution from setup to breakdown.
Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
· Lead the planning, organization, and execution of dealership events including rallies, parties, community-connection events, and sales promotions.
· Develop event calendars, layouts, timelines, and action plans to ensure smooth operations.
· Coordinate logistics such as permits, supplies, decorations, and signage.
Vendor & Partner Management
· Serve as the primary point of contact for food trucks, bands, vendors, sponsors, and the local HOG (Harley Owners Group) chapter.
· Research and secure vendors, equipment, and venues as needed.
· Foster strong partnerships with community organizations to enhance event impact.
Marketing & Promotion
· Promote events through social media, dealership channels, and community outreach.
· Create engaging posts, monitor trends, and maintain the dealership’s event calendar.
· Collaborate with the marketing team to maximize attendance and engagement.
Customer Engagement
· Interact with attendees, build rapport, and provide event-related information.
· Assist with sign-ups for promotions, contests, and giveaways.
· Deliver an excellent customer service experience that reflects the Harley-Davidson lifestyle.
Event Logistics & Execution
· Manage setup and breakdown of event equipment, including tables, tents, chairs, and supplies (must be able to lift 20+ pounds).
· Ensure all aspects of the event run smoothly and on schedule.
· Support dealership staff and leadership with event-related responsibilities.
Budget Management
· Track expenses and revenues for each event.
· Manage budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and financial accountability.
