Vivalon Rides is Hiring Special Needs Attendants in Solano County to support our adult clients with disabilities during transit. This vital role assists drivers in ensuring safe, respectful, and comfortable transportation.

As Vivalon Rides expands into Solano County, we are excited to welcome our newest team of Special Needs Attendants to this Fairfield, CA-based new operation.

• Starting hourly rate of $19/hour 
• Paid training provided

• Consistent daytime schedule: Monday–Friday, no weekends or evenings!

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and assist clients during transit
• Support drivers with safe loading and unloading of passengers
• Properly use safety restraints, wheelchair securements, and seat belts
• Demonstrate empathy and understanding for individuals with disabilities
• Maintain professional and respectful interactions with clients, coworkers, and community members
• Follow all health and safety policies and procedures
• Communicate client concerns to drivers and management

Requirements

• Availability for training starting on October 20, 2025
• Availability for in-person interviews on September 23rd or 24th, 2025
• Friendly, reliable, and committed to excellent customer service
• Genuine desire to help others and support individuals with disabilities
• Valid California Driver’s License or California ID Card
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Ability to attend a 5-day paid training in San Rafael, CA (commute stipend provided)
• Provide two professional references
• Pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol screening and comply with random testing per federal regulations
• Ability to pass a background check (Safety Sensitive position)
