Description

Kimberton Whole Foods is looking for a career-minded, full-time Maintenance Assistant to join our Team.

Kimberton Whole Foods is a family-owned and operated grocery store that has been providing the community with locally sourced, natural, and organic products for over thirty years with locations in Collegeville, Douglassville, Downingtown, Kimberton, Malvern, Wyomissing, and Ottsville.


Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week. 8-hour shifts, 5 days per week.

Availability: Flexible schedule that may include nights and some weekends. Must be available outside of standard working hours as a part of the emergency response team.

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.  

Hourly Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 depending on experience

Daily Operations:


IT Infrastructure

  • Supports the development and implementation of processes for the organization’s IT systems and departments.
  • Supports the health and functionality of all IT infrastructure through preventative maintenance and regular service needs.
  • Supports the building and implementation of business continuity protocols to minimize disruption to business operations in the event of emergency situations related to IT infrastructure and data loss.

IT Operations and Service

  • Supports the IT help desk/ticket system to ensure a high level of service for all TM’s and meets the standard response time protocol.
  • Ensures the POS/inventory Management system is optimally upgraded and always maintained to the highest levels of functionality. Manages the corresponding tickets and correspondence with the POS/Inventory Management hardware/software provider to ensure timely resolution to ongoing issues. 
  • Supports a range of software vendors and services to support day-to-day business success. 
  • Supports proper deployment of IT hardware/software and ensures successful end-user adoption.
  • Ensures all IT hardware is operating at full capacity and is appropriately managed through planned obsolescence. 
  • Ensure all software programs are appropriately upgraded and function appropriately.

Leadership

  • Displays an attitude of service leadership congruent with the KWF mission and culture. Provides great service to all KWF TM’s, customers, and vendors alike. 
  • Displays a strong understanding of the value of authentic and truthful communication. 
  • Maintains the confidentiality of KWF Team Members, customers, vendors, suppliers, and all company information.  
  • Provides a safe work environment for KWF Team Members by following the KWF workplace safety policy. 

Requirements

Key Attributes 

  • Passion for technology, trouble shooting and providing friendly support. 
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills, including good listening and providing clear instructions.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant IT experience.  
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
  • Experience in AWS and inventory management systems a plus. 
  • High level computer and IT equipment knowledge and skills.  
  • Fast and efficient navigating a wide variety of software application.
