POSITION SUMMARY
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for executing and supporting strategic pricing initiatives with a focus on maintaining compliance with the company’s Universal Pricing Policy (UPP) across online channels. This role plays a critical part in preserving brand integrity, preventing price erosion, and ensuring fair competition among authorized retailers. The analyst will monitor pricing activity, analyze trends, and collaborate cross-functionally to enforce policy standards and optimize pricing strategies.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Key Responsibilities:
- Pricing Compliance Monitoring: Oversee digital pricing activity to ensure alignment with UPP. Identify and document violations and support resolution efforts in coordination with internal teams and external partners.
- Reporting & Insights: Generate and distribute pricing reports that provide actionable insights into product performance, competitive pricing behavior, and policy adherence. Recommend strategic adjustments based on data trends.
- System Management: Maintain and enhance pricing compliance tools (e.g., Maptrack), ensuring data accuracy and system reliability. Support integration with internal systems and process improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to ensure consistent enforcement of pricing policies and alignment with broader commercial strategies.
- Stakeholder Communication: Draft and manage communications to customers regarding UPP compliance. Serve as the primary contact for external pricing monitoring vendors and coordinate enforcement activities.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Requirements:
- Analytical Skills: Strong quantitative and analytical capabilities to assess pricing trends, cost structures, and market dynamics.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data management and reporting within a fast-paced environment.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging with internal teams, vendor partners, and customers.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; experience with pricing systems and ability to quickly learn new platforms.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, or related field (Preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in pricing analysis, sales operations, or compliance
- Familiarity with pricing enforcement platforms and e-commerce environments

- Ability to travel occasionally for meetings, training, or retail store visits (if applicable)
